In the Papura room, our children got engaged in chopping, peeling and slicing our vegetables to prepare for our Matariki soup tomorrow . This was a great learning opportunity for our tamariki to learn about a different culture, be open and willing to try new things, helping and taking turns together and sharing their stories from home if they help their whānau in the kitchen. We also learnt about different vegetables that are locally grown. Well done children! We can’t wait to have a wonderful yummy soup tomorrow that we all helped make together
